The 2001 CQA Conference was scheduled to begin with a cocktail reception on September 11th. Due to the catastrophic events of that day, the conference was cancelled. Numerous CQA members were in flight that day heading to the event. Thankfully, none of those flights were involved. The CQA made a $10,000 donation to the scholarship fund for families of the individuals who perished that day.
