Each year at the European Finance Association meetings, the CQA and NASDAQ  sponsor a Doctoral Tutorial. Over 200 papers are submitted and the best 8 are chosen for presentation. The finalists present their papers in an all-day session, complete with discussants for each paper. CQA members and visiting professors select a winner from the finalists. The winner is awarded a monetary prize and is invited to present their work at the CQA Conference in Chicago. All CQA members are invited to attend. They are also encouraged to attend the entire EFA Conference, which is held on the following Thursday through Saturday.
